You have an unique opportunity to take part in SiMUN – United Nations simulation. It will take place from 12th to 16th of September 2012 in Ljubljana, Slovenia. SiMUN is an amazing experience that enables the participants to improve their negotiating skills, study current interesting international topics in depth, meet new people and gain detailed knowledge about the work of the United Nations.

This year delegates can participate in the UN Security Council, Economic and Financial Committee and in the Human Rights Council. The delegates who will apply for Security Council will be engaged with the topic of nuclear armament in the case of Iran and Israel, whereas the delegates in the Economic and Financial Committee will be occupied with two different topics – the first topic includes the war for water and future conflicts in the region of Central Asia and the second one will work on the question of Millenium goals and the distribution of international development aid after 2015. In the Human Rights Council the attention will be focused on two problems – child labour and concentration camps in North Korea. Beside the interesting topics that will be dicussed, we are also preparing educational workshops, sightseeing tour of our Capital and fun evening programs.
