International Research Conference “Central Asia: Regionalization vs. Globalization.”

KIMEP University invites to 9th International Research Conference (KIRC), “Central Asia: Regionalization vs. Globalization”. This conference, to be held at KIMEP University April 19 - 21, 2012, will facilitate the sharing of ideas, research and experience of value to scholars, NGOs, business leaders, government officials and journalists. Participants can choose to attend any of the 100-200 speeches, panel discussions, professional reports, and academic research papers in the fields of Communications, Business and Taxation, Law, Social Science, Humanities, Education, Literature and Linguistics.

KIRC conference is FREE for all who attend, including presenters. Presenters will have their papers printed in our proceedings free of charge, and their papers will also be considered for publication in the Central Asian Business Journal (also at no cost).

If you are interested in presenting a research paper or a professional report, please submit an extended abstract or full-length paper by 15 March 2012 with a clearly formulated problem statement, a brief description of your approach or methodology, and your results and conclusions. All submitted papers must be original in nature. If you are interested in organizing a panel discussion or some other special session, please submit a proposal briefly describing the topic. All presenters should submit a brief biography.

While the working language of the conference is English, some sessions will be presented in or translated into Kazakh and Russian.
