The Department of International Relations of the Faculty of Economic and Administrative Sciences at Hacettepe University is organising a congress entitled “From War to Eternal Peace on the 100th Anniversary of the Balkan Wars: Good Neighbourhood Relations in the Balkans”, in İstanbul, on 4-7th October 2012. The congress aims to foster good neighbourhood relations in the Balkans and enhance academic cooperation in the field of Balkan Studies. The congress is expected to have contributions from the leading academics, researchers, representatives of the non-governmental organizations, opinion leaders, policy-makers, diplomats, and other experts from the region, Turkey and around the world. We invite all researchers interested in the region to submit paper or panel proposals that address the themes and topics listed below.

Deadline for Paper Submissions is 20 June 2012.
